CRIMINAL REPRESENTATION
We represent defendants in criminal proceedings. The most common food related crimes being: - fraud; - marketing of industrial products with deceptive or misleading trademarks or labelling; - crimes following food sampling by supervisory bodies (found to have microbiological levels exceeding allowed limits; parasites; pesticides exceeding the limits; additives exceeding permitted amounts or not allowed for certain food; food otherwise unfit for consumption); - crimes related to involuntary food poisoning by caterers, etc. Pet food, food supplements, food contact materials, textiles, criminal issues related to waste and drains, and crimes related to the injuries occurred due to the breaches in work safety rules are all matters in which the firm has developed significant expertise.
REGULATORY SANCTIONS
We challenge regulatory sanctions on client's behalf. The most common sanctions are related to - misleading labelling and the infringement of EU Reg. 1169/2011 - unfair commercial practices - violation of procedures for hygiene and food safety - violation of vertical legislation
